Your tasks

Reporting to the Underwriting and Service Manager, the candidat is responsible for providing outstanding customer service, managing the placement process and negotiating with insurers.

  • Prepare the necessary documents for renewals and new business;
  • Negotiate insurance conditions with insurers;
  • Analyze conditions of quotes and policies and prepare presentation for customer;
  • Coordinate billing and insurance certificate requests with technical analysts;
  • Manage EgR customers’ ad hoc shipping requests;
  • Analyze customer quotes, contracts and other documents to identify insurance issues;
  • Ensure that respective follow-ups are made with customers and insurers to obtain required documentation in a timely manner;
  • Ensure that policyholder queries are dealt with.

Job requirement

  • Studies in administration, insurance, financial services or a specialty in marine or cargo;
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage priorities and initiative;
  • Thorough knowledge of the Office suite;
  • Bilingualism in English and French.
